May 9, 2022

 Hey everybody,

This week was really good we still have our friend Jaret on date, and he should be getting baptized this Saturday! We also had zone conference this past week and it went really well I learned a lot but the one thing that impacted me the most honestly was something my president said. He said that often times people don't treat their scriptures as well as they should -- like most people do their phones or something like that. Anyway I committed myself to treating my scriptures like I do my phone and keep it on me at all times and to hold it high and use it more than my phone. And it's been going super well so far. It has strengthened my knowledge and spirit and also my all-around confidence as a Missionary.  I definitely invite everyone to try this experiment and I promise it will strengthen you in all aspect of your life.

I also found an awesome scripture yesterday in Mosiah 4:17-19

17 Perhaps thou shalt say: The man has brought upon himself his misery; therefore I will stay my hand, and will not give unto him of my food, nor impart unto him of my substance that he may not suffer, for his punishments are just—

18 But I say unto you, O man, whosoever doeth this the same hath great cause to repent; and except he repenteth of that which he hath done he perisheth forever, and hath no interest in the kingdom of God.

19 For behold, are we not all beggars? Do we not all depend upon the same Being, even God, for all the substance which we have, for both food and raiment, and for gold, and for silver, and for all the riches which we have of every kind?

We are all Beggars for the Lord's love and Blessing and because of that we cannot judge those who have less than us spiritually, physically or mentally. We need to instead strengthen them in the Lord and support our them how ever we can. Remember our Covent we made the savior. The law of consecration says to help our fellow Man in any way we can just like the savior did. Anyway that was my recent study lately. I'll let you all know what I find next time. Thank you all for all your support and love you have given me. Love you all!

April 25, 2022 New friend on date

Hey everyone, this week was good. We talked to a lot of people and tracked all day every day. I have a really bad sunburn, but it should be alright. I’ll just have to wear long sleeves for a couple days ha-ha.

Other than that, though it's been awesome.  We just put our friend Jeret on date a couple days ago and he is super excited to be baptized. He also wants to go to the DC Temple open house. We are super excited for him, and we know he is going to love the covenants he makes with the Lord. He also wants to serve a mission someday so that's just Awesome!

My companions in Christiansburg definitely work hard and serve the Lord and the people here very diligently. Also, if you're wondering, my companions' names are Elder Winter and Elder Adcox. They are both really good guys, and they are also really interesting as well. Elder Winter will be going home in August and Elder Adcox is probably going to his OG assignment in Guam pretty soon.

Other than that fun stuff it has been your average time in the mission just tracking, making videos and finding on Facebook. Thank you for your support. It has helped me work as hard as I possibly can which is a huge blessing. I can't wait to see you guys again on the other side. love y’all

Also, we just found out that we will be losing our cars soon so wish me luck on that!
