October 17, 2022 Departing testimony at Zone Conference

Hey everyone, this week was great we met with a lot of inactive members, that's kind of what our transfer focus has been on, and it has definitely worked and helped with the work. I have met so many awesome brothers and sisters that want to come back to the church and just need some motivation. It's been a good experience. We also had stake conference and zone conference this week. Zone conference was awesome because I was able to give my departing testimony, which was great, but I also cried like a baby which was not so great. The spirit was strong though and I wouldn't change it for the world. Qt stake conference we met at the Martin building which was the first time it was held there since ever, we also participated in the choir as well which was fun all the missionaries in our district participated as well. The work Is good and I just trying to run across that finish line, I'm excited to spend the last few weeks here in Hazard and I'm super excited to finish off strong. Thanks for your guy’s support and I love you all, I know that I have done great work on my mission, and I can't wait to do more. Also, my plan is Greta when it works but right now it's not letting me progress so I'm kind of stuck.

Also, we skinned a squirrel so that's neat!

September 19, 2022 I'm loving it here every day!

Hey guys hope ya’lls week was good, mine was great we picked up three news and we also put a friend on date!

She is on date for the 9th of October, and she is really awesome, she is also quitting smoking and trying to come to church more so pray for her that she can do that. Also, we are helping the other Elders friend on date to stop smoking well so pray for him as well his name is Larry. We have done a lot of tracking and it has been really good for us because it showed us how to really nurture the people of Kentucky here especially when they are going through a lot of trials. Anyway, the work is good and I'm loving it here every day. Keep praying for me and the people here and I'll do the same for ya’ll. Love you guys and hope to see you soon!

September 4, 2022 Doing Well in Kentucky!

 Hola everybody!

Hope ya’ll are doing well, I have been doing great.  The service here is still crazy and awesome. I'm definitely getting a good workout in every day!  The work is good also the other set of Elders put 4 people on date! Which is absolutely awesome and crazy we are really happy for them, and it has made us work even harder to catch up.

I do feel bad for my companion  though he is struggling a lot with Google maps and finding people, for example we saw a person who had not met with the missionaries for a long time so we thought we would just check up on them and see if they would like to resume meeting with us. But when we pulled up to the house it was completely gone, the only thing left was a wall and a chair, so we knocked the wall and to my surprise.... nobody answered it was completely wrecked but we have been really praying find some awesome people to teach and to one day walk into those wonderful waters but it's all in God's time, so I'll be alright.

Anyway, that's the week so far, the people here are great and the Branch is full on very faithful and loving people. There's about 25 that come regularly but the spirit definitely fills that building just the same.

Anyway, I love you guys and I can't wait to talk to ya’ll next week and I hope you have a great week!

August 21, 2022 New area, new companion, new experiences!

Hey everyone!

Hope ya’ll had a wonderful week.  Mine was pretty crazy.

So I landed in Hazard Kentucky which is appropriately named considering all the flooding and disaster over here.

But it's really good the branch is great, and they just have so much love for the people here and for God. We did a lot of service this week which is so awesome I'm excited to be doing this for probably the majority of the time that I will be here.

I definitely think that's why God called me here was so I can just help and work hard for these wonderful souls in Kentucky.

On a more crazy note, we have 4 Elders living in this apartment and it is just absolutely crazy and awesome at the same time.  Their names are Elder Moore (my comp), Elder Frost and Elder Macdonald. They are super great guys, and we are just having lot of fun. We also have zone conference this Wednesday which is super early but I'm not complaining.

I am sad to say goodbye to Christiansburg though. I made a lot of good friends and family as well and I'm really grateful for the lessons they and the Lord havetaught me the 3 transfers I was there.  Anyway, it’s getting kind of late over here so I should probably hop off but I'll make sure to tell ya’ll about the crazy stuff that will happen around here soon.

Love ya’ll and stay safe
