Hello everyone,
This week was pretty crazy! I lost two of my companions and got two new ones, one of which I'm training -- which is crazy! But they’re both pretty awesome. One is Elder Aiston. He has been in the mission for about 4 months. And of course, Elder Jessop, who just got here a couple days ago. Elder Jessop is actually called to the Hong Kong China Mission, which is really cool. He speaks pretty good Cantonese as well, so he will do great when he gets there.
But other than that, the area is doing good. Our friend Angie said she wants to come to church this week which is super awesome, and we're excited for her as well. We also have just been tracking up a storm in the area and have met some very interesting people one of which bashed us like crazy and told us we're children of the devil, which scared the Greenie half to death. We just simply said, “Alright and have a good day,” and walked away.
We also went to a white elephant party a couple days ago which was fun. All of our friends from the food service place were there and they were really interested in what we do as missionaries and how long we serve. So that was cool to talk about with them. But the best part was giving someone a puzzle of the Savior and seeing their reaction. They were really confused.
Anyway, that was about the bulk of the week I had with my new guys. I am super excited though to be serving with them.
And I hope New Marty stays a party.
